LN46A550P3F. This TV is seriously sweet. The colors blow my mind. Awesome. Keep paying sticker price while I spend the $$$ I saved on a Blue Ray. It's not a lie, Zig. I also negotiated around $150 off and free delivery on my 50" DLP around two years ago.
$1099. Total walkout with 3 year warranty plan was around $1300.00. On such a sweet LCD I say this was a no brainer.
I am buying what you are selling. I didn't get my chance to try it today as I really didn't have much time. I used my 2yr warranty on my PS3 controller to upgrade to the rumble one. Mwuahahha. I win Best Buy! I WIN! But ya, def gonna try and negotiate the next big purchase.
I got a 40" last time. I guess this one would need to be bigger, since it will go in my living room. The one I got last time was for the gameroom. I guess I need to measure my living room huh?

for plasmas pioneer elite pioneer panasonic samsung dont know much about toshibas or mitsus. sony doesnt make plasmas. for lcd sony samsung
the high end lcd's cant really compare with the high end plasmas. i have the sammy ln52a750 lcd and i love it but the pioneers would blow it out of the water.

so what do you think would be the better choice something like in your link for 2k or something like this??? costco 720p 50" plasma which i saw in the store im almost postive with a rebate that would bring it down to $999. for me thats a really hard decision. maybe my thinking would be to eventually maybe in about 2 years get the full decked out 1080p large lcd or plasma when they will dropped down even more and throw that one in my bedroom. hmmm
the 720p panasonic 50inch plasma is an excellent tv. 1080p is not worth $1000 more than 720p. its really hard to tell unless you sit close with 2 bluray sources one running 1080p and one at 720p respectively. too bad costo are idiots for not putting the model #. here's a good review of the 720p panasonics http://reviews.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/plasmatvreviews/panasonic-th50px75u-review.html VALUE RATING: 96 Price Considerations: $1799 is a very good price for this quality of picture. This 1366 X 768 plasma will perform just as well as its 1080p counterparts, which cost $1000 more. Of course it won’t accept 1080p signals but I dare you to do a site test between a 1080p signal and a 1080i signal pumped into a 1080p plasma TV and swear you can tell the difference. My trained eye can not. Quality Comparison: Plasma still outperforms LCD by quite a bit in picture quality. The TH-50PX75U plasma TV will give the owner a stellar picture, surpassed by very few 50” plasmas on the market and I would venture to say no LCD televisions. The only drawback is the lack of all those extra features. This is a great looking display with bare bones features. you can still get bluray etc, and set the resolution to 720p/1080i and it will still look spectacular.
I personally prefer the crisp, clear picture that LCD offers. I had that plasma from Costco for a few weeks and it didn't just sit well with me. Actually, it was Tinman who recommended it in the first place. But it wasn't as sharp as I'd hope. Beware that it also only has 2 HDMI inputs. Check the reviews on avsforums.
Someone tell me again why one would pick a Plasma over a LCD? I don't think I will be playing too many video games on my next TV....
usually better black ratio, contrast, and viewing angles now, for the larger sizes, better price performance cons, eats up more energy, you might get burn in problems if you don't use it right, you might get glare if your tv is too close to the windows
