Since we can not seem to find him, I wonder if we will begin to hear speculation of him going to Iraq.

I would not put it past our government to say such things in order to move the war to Saddam's doorstep.

    It sure would be convenient...

But we don't need that to move against Saddam. Just go to the UN site and read Resolution 687 (do a search - not that hard). We've already got plenty of justification to move against Saddam...

    Bin Laden is either:

    1) Still in Afghanistan, hiding in a cave

    2) Still in Afghanistan, fleeing and on the move to Pakistan (or possibly Iran, but that's a longshot)

    3) Still in Afghanistan, and in pieces so small that we'll never find him - blown to bits/incinerated (hopefully, and actually not too unlikely)

    4) Already fled to Pakistan.

If he's fled to Pakistan, it's just a matter of time before he's noticed and caught. That 25 million reward might not work that well in Afghanistan (although you can bet every Eastern Alliance soldier had it on his mind), but it will work wonders in Pakistan. Family members have been known to turn over suspects in Pakistan for lesser rewards...

And a man who travels with his entourage can't escape discovery forever in Pakistan, where there are always a thousand eyes watching your every move... He will be found. And it won't take too long.

The real question should be: Is Pakistan #2 in the War on Terror?...........
