This guy is one of my favorite comedians and he will be at the Improv- Houston this week. I never ask to middle for other headliners but I will be on his show this week just because he is one of the few guys that I would love to work with. Thurs-Saturday. I do my own show on Sunday.

713-333-8809. These shows will sell out.

    Bill Burr...enjoy

I would go see him just for this reason...

Destroying the Philly crowd after he was the 3rd straight comic they tried to boo off the stage.

Extremely NSFW. Extremely Offensive. Extremely Awesome.

Thanks to AB, I just googled him and stumbled across this too...epic.

I'd like to hear Burr's take of the Aristocrats joke.

I remember seeing this guy on TV a couple of times. I wouldn't have even known his name but he cracked me up. I like his humor.

I don't like comics who constantly lean on race for humor. It's intellectually lazy. It's the easy way out. No thanks.

Whats intellectual humor? Slapstick? Observational? Offensive? Neurotic? Self-depreciating?

You are basically saying Richard Pryor sucked?

That's like saying "I don't like basketball players who dribble the ball."

Comics write and perform with regard to the events that have shaped their lives. This guy HAS a black girlfriend and has been surrounded by black people all of his life.

He is not a one trick pony.

He also does a compelling piece about him wanting to commit suicide that speaks to the depressed and overwhelmed, but according to your standard people would not even experience that part of the show because of an initial impression.

Broaden your horizons Texx, we'll all be better for it.

I only watched the clip in your first post, but it got stale really quick.

If people think that that skit is going big time on here, they are only trying to float your chain.

That said, I love what you do, as well as all of your cohorts. My buddies have always loved the idea of going your route, but we do the whole business thingie.

That said, I'd love to send you some of our comedy crap. We come up with nonsense all the time.

    Shove me your email.

You never know... Plus, I'm a bludgeon for punishment that you've only seen a taste of. Class ring? Tip o' the iceberg. My getting fired at Astroworld is enough material for 10 minutes alone.

Asking texx to broaden his horizons is like asking HAL 9000 to open the pod bay doors.

? Broaden my horizons? If anything this gentlemen is narrowing my horizons, using one of the the lowest common denominators to get laughs.
