I saw a $2 off coupon in the Houston Press, so I had to try it out. I did some research online first, and one review said "A combination of a strip club and a hair salon, and they manage to do neither well." Of course, that didn't stop me from checking it out in person. I needed a haircut, damnit! Well, the girls don't dress like the pictures on the website. And saying girls would be understating the age of the matron (around 47?) who cut my hair by a bit. She was wearing a leather medium-length miniskirt and a leather vest with 2 buttons unbuttoned - just enough to see the edge of a lacy purple bra. I almost wanted to ask her to put more clothes on. On the bright side, she did give me a pretty decent haircut - she took her time and seemed professional. There also were plenty of pictures of girls in lingerie and swimsuits on the walls. I checked out the only other hairdresser on my way out - she was about 8 years younger and dressed similarly. All in all, it would be a good concept IF they had decent talent. There is a good reason that the location has blacked out windows - they don't want you to see what you are getting before you go inside. I haven't been back.
