I keep watching number 71 and keep wondering something. Did that fan reach over the wall and catch the ball before it went out and interfere or did I see something wrong and the ball is actually a few rows up. I can't tell what's right below where he caught it and I don't know the ground rules at Pac Bell, but say that guy doesn't catch it and it hits the wall right below him. Would it have still been a homer just the same? And apparently another record might fall tonight. The Dodgers/Giants game could become the longest nine inning game in history.
