Okay, kind of cool that Alyssa put up McCray....but she really should have put up Amanda instead of Aaryn. She needs to put her personal feelings aside and make the move that everyone in the house has been scared to make - break up McCray and Amanda. Aaryn is now totally impotent as a player, no reason to go after her. Hell, her Judd and Alyssa would actually make a nice alliance if Alyssa could think outside the box and use this week to put it together.
See, I totally disagree. I'm not saying Elissa is being smart, and I wouldn't be surprised if she did her noms purely out of spite for Aaryn... but I think the smart play WAS to put up McRae and Aaryn. Aaryn has won 4 HOHs and would be able to play in the next HOH competition if she stayed in the game. Amanda has won absolutely nothing and is no true threat. You get Aaryn out now b/c of what a strong competitor she is. She could win HOH next week and gun after Elissa if she wanted to. Amanda can't win dick. So when Aaryn leaves, you can show the rest of the cast that your aim all along was to get out a great competitor that would be tough to beat in a Final 2 on the merit vote (not counting social game) Other side - Aaryn wins POV and you put up Amanda or you put up GM and get McRae out. Though Amanda is the more despicable of McCranda... I think if you get McRae out - Amanda goes into a tail spin and self destructs immediately. Like that African American woman who self-imploded several years ago (can't remember her name for the life of me). That would be fun television. I spend way too much time thinking about this show.
I see what you're saying, and yes it would be fun to watch Amanda totally fall apart when McRae goes home. But I don't think Aaryn is as good a player as you think. She's won a lot of competitions, but half the time everyone else is trying NOT to win because no one in this cast seems to want to get blood on their hands. They're throwing competitions left and right. I think she should shock the house and form an alliance with Judd and Aaryn and start taking out "3am" one by one. Judd wants to get back at everyone who backdoored him and Aaryn is just looking for a reason to break from Amanda and McCrae. No one would every suspect Elissa and Aaryn working together. It's the perfect storm. I have to admit I love the show even when the cast is as lame as this one. I love all the mind games involved. It's like watching a social experiment with natural selection being played out on network TV.
I also think Amanda & McCrae would've been a better nomination. VERY interesting turn of events yesterday: Spoiler I wonder if this Exterminators alliance (Judd, GM, Andy, Spencer) will hold up. This looks like the beginning of the end for Mccranda, finally. Too bad that Elissa will be left out, although things can (and do) change later on. She actually did a nice job sussing out Andy's lies and getting Judd and GM on her side. I think she's played a really good game lately. HOH helps of course. And it's hilarious to see Andy getting angry about being on the block. He gets caught in some lies, votes Elissa's biggest ally out, and yet takes personal offense to potentially going on the block (still as a pawn). He even said something like "Helen would be more reasonable" to her...the irony.
Smart to go after Aaryn, imo. She has won so many competitions and had targeted Elissa before, so it makes sense. And if Andy goes up as the replacement nominee, then you can not only weaken that 3am alliance with getting either of them out, you can also get out a strong competitor in aaryn.

Elissa made the right call putting Aaryn up instead of Amanda. First she's Elissa's biggest threat in the house as she wins competitions, and she's also been easily manipulated to do whatever Amanda wants her to do. With Aaryn gone who else is going to take marching orders from Amanda besides McCrae and Andy? Was reading some stuff very early this morning about some things that went down last night and all I can say is Amanda is a pathetic human being. We're not talking game play here either.
Spoiler Is it? It seemed like Andy was ready to flip. I'm just reading updates and Twitter though so my take is all 2nd hand. If GM goes up do you think he still votes to save Aaryn (and 3am/Mcmanda's orders). If it's 'real', my take is Andy/Spencer will want to go after Elissa while Gm/Judd would prefer not to but that's a debate for them down the road.
total side note - is it me or is Elissa getting more fit (like that's even possible) and Amanda getting chubbier? Elissa must just do yoga alone all day and Amanda must just eat in the pantry and her only exercise is locking lips w/ McRae.
I agree. Add in Gina Marie and Aaryn who have all done/said awful things that have no place, game or not. Truly ugly people this season.
I can see why getting Aaryn out helps. Regardless of why she won so much, it only helps her build a resume to present to the jury. They may all not be aware of how she lucked into most of the wins, like we are. However, the problem is they just waited too long to separate Amanda and Mcrae. Even if amanda sucks at comps, they can win on probability with the numbers dwindling down. Those odds only get better the following week, if they take out Aaryn now. That's why i think they should get McCrae out now. Aaryn won't be intimidated by the duo the following week, if she wins again. Plus, alyssa can't play for HOH next week, with amanda and Mcrae still in charge, elyssa is once again alone and a prime target. Break them up, and she has a better shot at forming a new alliance.
I can't stand how dumb the cast is this season. This is why people like Howard and Judd get evicted. Amanda should've been gone a long time ago. Unfortunately, even with America's help MULTIPLE times, they still couldn't get the job done. And here I thought this guy was dumb..... Only people that know how to play the game are Helen and McCrae.

I've only watched six seasons of this show, but she is easily my most hated player ever. I can't ****ing believe she won that veto.
Amanda is an ass, and she compensates for her pathetic nature by being assertive up front. She is still finding a way to run this house, and only won once (when it really counted). The plan to rile Elissa up and have andy swoop in was a good one, and it almost worked until Andy reiterated his alignment with her. You could see the gears turning in the plastic head of hers when he screwed it up. That said, she didn't have to be that mean about it, and doesn't seem to have a regulator on that spiteful part of herself once she gets riled up. In fact, this cast has had some seriously spiteful people in general. They have screwed up letting McCranda stay this long, and now look at the bed they've made. E's awesome figure is outweighed by her makeup, her voice/mannerisms and that terrible plastic duckface. I can barely stand looking at her, much less hearing her. They show too much of her in the diary room and not enough doing yoga.
like I said, CBS is showing a fraction of the things she's said and done. I don't think the word vile really describes her.
