"Big Bang", the drummer guys, were HEAVILY booed during their timeout routine at the game last night. It was was really bad. I was waiting for the sound of a gong, and for Chuck Barris to escort them off the court. They received hardly any applause and I saw Clutch consoling them in the tunnel afterward.

Personally, I wish the guys success but it looks like it just isn't happening...

Was he still in his costume ? That sounds hilarious : a mascot in his ridiculous costume trying to console people.

I was at the game when they booed them last night, I thought it was only fitting because face it They stink and the fans know it.

The whole Blue man Group act is old news, if you see them perform thats exactly how they act.

Woof, poor guys. I'm sure they're trying hard and love their jobs.

Easy solution? Have the Power Dancers dance to de riddim!!

Are these the same guys that everyone hated doing the pre-game introduction stuff? Funny. I wouldn't mind seeing a vid clip of them getting booed. Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing a clip of them at all to judge whether or not they're as terrible as most people here make them out to be.

I havnt been to a game in the new arena.... Are you telling me that Turbo is no longer there???

    What the **** ?

Turbo was as part of the rockets as zan tabak or scottie brooks, hell he was more talented than them. Why is he not with the team anymore ? I used to remember wishing that Turbo would fight Charloitte's " Man of Teal", because they looked alike.

Turbo has been in retirement for a couple of years. He was getting older and suffering from several injuries. He now runs a school for training guys to do what he basically invented.

As for the drummers, I feel bad for those guys. They were thrust into this thing with little training and really had to fly by the seat of their pants. They get paid next to nothing and it is a lot of work for them.

Frankly, I think the Rockets kinda hung them out to dry because they didn't do everything they could to research what makes groups like this work and not work. They just thought you could throw together some local college kids who play drums and everything would be fine. That just isn't fair to those guys. Not all of them are great players and they are inventing on the fly.

Groups like Stomp and Blue Man Group audition hundreds of new members every year, go through rigorous training and perform dozens of times a year. Getting a few guys who can play drums together, rehersing them a few times and hoping for the best is a recipe for disaster.

I wish we had a band, like a College football band to come out and play when the crowd needs to get hyped up. I saw the movie Drumline the other night, we should get a band like that.

Whoever creates the entertainment choreography for the Rockets during their games and hires these people needs to be let go or fired. It's just been crap over the past few years.

As a fan, I more enjoy the things that I can even slightly participate in. I enjoy the Rockets 'shell game', the Astros 'three-colored-cars-racing' game, the Astros 'yell-louder-to-make-the-rabbit-hit-a-home-run' game, the Aeros 'throw-the-orange-ball-into-the-hat' game (even if I just watch).... these are about 100 times more enjoyable than just watching performers (with the exception of cheerleaders/power dancers).

Those quick change artists are one of the favorite halftime shows at NBA games across the league. If you haven't seen them, it is pretty wild stuff.

That their act was given a makeover no less than 3 seasons in a row, didn't help either. Their second year, when they painted themselves silver in a pathetic take off from the BMG, was the worst.

The idea of pairing them with dancers (the breakdancing guys too, maybe?) was a good one.

The drummers are lame. There's nothing you can do to make that schtick work. Just give them the axe.

    Replace them with...nothing.

He was back . . . for one game at least. If you watched the high impact squad on Saturday, Turbo (in a different uniform) was one of the guys dunking.

The drummers do suck, I hated when they first started doing at at Compaq. THey would be running around everywhere banging on ****. THey were annoying as hell. Im glad they got booed, and i hope they never perform again. They should do Aeros games or something.

I was at the game. They deserved it! Seeing them getting booed was more entertaining than their poor performance.
