WOW! ok guys and gals, I'm not much into these political threads but I do read them. It seems Mr. Lluvioso has caused quite a stir for being such a Newbie. I care nothing about what he says or thinks but I wanna give him congrats for being a...a...libertarian is it? And it seems he's quite educated as I am not. I find it amusing how pissed off some of you get but I guess thats the idea of being what you are and standing up for it. Anyhow its good reading.(Man! Politics is so stressful, thats why I don't get into it!) Has there been any other Newbie to dive into such controversy so soon into their BBS career? He's read enough conservative propogranda to know the right buzz words, but has no real understanding of the issues involved. The Bob Rainey troll was by far the best, Jim wasn't that cool, Beto's growing on me though. I actually catch myself agreeing with him on some issues. Oh, also, here is a clue for spotting Rainey again. Question the purpose of any political post made by a junior member. People don't lurk here just itching to start a political debate. There are way too many bulletin boards devoted to political debating going on than this Hangout with it's...what...about a dozen or 2 political debaters. Take a lesson from mr_oily's post, "Has there been any other Newbie to dive into such a [Hangout] controversy so soon into their BBS career?" No one here is going to prove Beto wrong, or get him to admit anything. All Achebe, haven and rimbaud are going to accomplish is allow BK to say Beto won the argument, in order so Brian can get some of your goat too. Think about that next time you try to argue with Bob Rainey. btw: I say haven and Achebe are the best debaters here, because they can hang in BBall talk, too. Multi-talented debaters. Brian, it's hard to argue with a guy who says "you and I both know there is only one reason to register the guns of law abiding citizens- so we know whose homes to go to when the gun confiscation begins." I haven't followed every other argument between Beto and the rest, but I couldn't continue to debate a guy whose arguments are based on speculation about the government's hidden, sinister motives. Its like having a conversation with the unabomber. ------------------ Bingbong was set up, led to an untimely death in the prime of his life for no other reason than pure malice. Things like that do not go unavenged. Sometimes it spills out onto the field of play.
SamCassell, You think Beto is serious? Bob Rainey pulled the biggest spoof on the board ever with the Antawn Jamison trade thread. He does not strike me as someone serious. He strikes me as someone who wants to get people to react and laugh at them. I have never had a problem with him until he continued to spoof addresses. Beto was funny. But, Clutch really dislikes him. I am not your enemy Bevo; you doof. I helped Clutch track you down your real IP address, because he asked for help. But I really only did that because I have a moral objection to someone spoofing IPs like a high schooler. Sure Bevo, you can argue that it is your right to hide your true IP address (many make that argument), but I know what it takes to get a spoofed address, and I don't think that is cool. Besides, you are not using it to buy things at e-commerce sites; you are doing it solely to poke fun here. That is why Clutch despises you, and why I helped take some heat off him by getting you to hate me, instead. It was really cool of you to place him on a spam list. You, what was the word you called me in the recent email,,,,"p***y". If you would just not spoof IPs, I would have no problem with you. These Hangout threads need more of you. But, you should hit both sides (Rep and Dem) equally, if you really want to make me laugh. It is amazing how you got BK to side with you. Major KUDOS for that!! To me, that is actually more awesome than your Antawn Jamison scoop. Also, isn't spamgourmet.com really cool. Please don't abuse it, it provides a valuable service to the Internet community.
