I'm just curious if you guys play the Texas Lottery and what your best payouts have been? Scratch Off--No luck...usually win $2.00 or break even Pick 3--hit 3 any order...about $75.00 Cash 5--3 of 5 for $10.00...last night hit 4 of 5 for $415.00 Texas Lotto--don't play it anymore, but never better than 2 numbers.
I only play the TX Lottery when it gets up to 10mil or better and never more than 2 bucks at a time. If I spent more than that I'd feel like I was tossing my cash away. Congrats on you pick 5 win... how much would you have won if you had hit all 5?
Depending on number of winners, between 30 and 60 grand. There were no winners last night. If there were I would have won considerably less.
We hit all but 1 number on the California Lottery once...$1600 on a massive pot. The remaining number was like 22, and we had a 12, so we missed 1 digit...by the value of 1.
I gave my mom a buck when I was 12 years old at Fiesta Mart to buy me a lottery ticket. I won two dollars. Never bought a ticket of any kind again. Lightining doesn't strike twice often, ya know? (the sad thing is that this is the truth and how i ACTUALLY feel!)
I have only bought 3 lottery tickets in my life (or got them bought for me)...and every time i've won 2x the amount of the ticket. But to win over $50 would be an amazing feeling, especially if you rarely buy tickets (cuz if you buy them alot, you've probably already lost that much money on them).
I once won $5 for three weeks straight (3 numbers correct). I didn't get a single number correct after that for about two months. No mo lotto mojo.
I only play Cash 5 now. I play the same numbers day in and day out. (My son's b-day, my b-day, all numbers added) They draw every night but Sunday, and I have only played for about a month and a half. Let's see...6 days for 6 weeks @ a dollar a day...$36.00... Won (on Cash 5) 2 numbers 4X=$8.00 + $10.00 (hit 3) + $415 (hit 4)=$433.00 $36.00 put in $433.00 paid out. I can keep playing for over a year and still break even...At 12-1 payout, I think I'll keep playing...at least until I break even. I can't believe I just did that much math.
Scratch off - 20$ on the very first game that came out. Lotto - 3 numbers several times, my dad got 4 once. I will win it though!
I got five out of six once - $1400 - it was awesome, but I play every wednesday - 5 ticks each time - so I have probably lost it twice over with an occasional three bucks here and there. I have a gambling problem and I love it. Vegas Baby, Vegas! If anyone wants to do something fun, save up four hundred bucks, memorize the black jack card that tells you what to do when. Then don your suit, find a 100 dollar table, change your four franklins, bet one, if you lose, you lost, but your chances of conducting a hit and run on the blackjack tables are about 50 million times more likely than winning the lottery so you can actually go up there thinking you could win. If you win, take the money and run. Buy yourself a nice thirty dollar steak and watch the football game. Modern day Zen Master.
