    This quote is from an article in USA Today's Sports Weekly :

    DT Jimmy Kennedy's mother, when asked about her son getting drafted in the first round -
    "I've smoked plenty of crack cocaine, but this is the best high I've ever experienced. This is a lifetime high."

    Seriously, she is a very strong woman, but there are some funny quotes in the article.

    This quote can be easily taken out of context if you don't read the article.

    The best quote from her though, was written on the back of the photograph- "One day you're going to be somebody special".

    Are there any words more powerful in the mind of a child?

    Great article.

    On a semi-related note, I heard one of my favorite quotes ever last night on Conan O' Brian - he was explaining Baseball to some chick and Bob Costas was there. Costas said there are four bases, Conan says "Yeah, three, I don't really count home as a base" and Costas said "And that's why you never score". OMG it was the greatest line I've heard on TV in some time!!
