I would have to say none of the above, mainly because I haven't seen ANY of those.

    Ok, Chris Rock. :)

I've seen all of the movies above except for "Finding Neverland" and I thought they were all great movies. Much better than "Lord of the Ring's" from last year. My ranking for the flicks are....

    1. "Million Dollar Baby" (Movie hit me pretty hard emotionally. Don't think I felt more depressed after a movie since "Old Yeller")
    2. "The Aviator" (Great flick and interesting story. Howard Hughes was a compelling character for me.)
    3. "Sideways" (Enjoyed the movie, but not best picture worthy IMO.)
    4. "Ray" (Another good movie, but I was more impressed with Jamie Foxx then the actual film.)
    5. "Finding Neverland" ( Peter Pan movies suck)

I hope for sideways or ray since I both placed some bets on them with great quotas like 30 and 50.

    :D

Have not seen any of them. Only want to see 2 of them: Ray and Sideways.

Kistler Pinot Noir. I've only had it a few times, and only one of those times was it a "life altering experience." Unfortunately, it was the epiphany that sent me over the edge into an appreciation of fine wine. At the time I had this epiphany, I wasn’t paying enough attention to take note of the vintage and the vineyard (Kistler follows a Burgundian model where they make several small lots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from different vineyards)

Finding Kistler here in Texas can be quite the challenge. Their distribution model is the height of pretentiousness. You can get on their mailing list, but you aren’t offered their best stuff. They give you an allocation, and if you want to buy the best stuff (later on), you need to order EVERYTHING that they allot you. To order, you send them a check for your total allotment, and several months later—when they release the wine—if there is enough to go around, you’ll get your allotment. If there isn’t, they’ll reimburse you—of course, they’ve had your money for several months now. If you order the full allotment, you might get the opportunity to order something a bit better the next time. It’s a dynamic process whereby you really need to order the full allotment for four or more consecutive releases before you move up to the top tier. I’m not really in a financial position to spend $2,500 or so on three cases of wine a couple of times a year, so I’m not on the mailing list. But if I had more dollars than sense, I probably would be………..it’s that good.

My vote goes to The Backdoor Bradys. Great acting. Great cast. Feel good movie of the year.

Man, I find it hard to believe that Hotel Rwanda wasn't nominated for best picture. It was a great story of a truely great man, and at the same time I can't believe America didn't step in sooner to stop this. Way, to go Bill Clinton. --> to the D&D forum we go. :)

    Incredibles all the way ;)

...its just a shame that the Academy isnt giving it the honor it deserves (Best Pic Nom) sticking it in the Best Animated Movie category....which we all know is basically the "The Award for Pixar because We the Academy will Never Give an Animated Movie Best Picture Oscar."

Isn't this move 3 years old. Speaking of 3 year olds, why do they call them toddlers. Are they really skilled at toddling? What is toddling? Does it have to do with somebody named Todd? Maybe a toddler named Todd invented toddling? Hmm....

LOL! DUDE, you had me waking up my WIFE again... CHEERS, buddy... :D I remember the good ol' times...

I just wanted to bring in a MEXICAN Movie... I actually had to look up whether Y tu mamá Tambien's Gael Garcia was in this Motorcycle Diaries flick. Speaking of flick, why do we call these movies "flicks"? These so called "flicks" last longer than a "flick"! Isn't it funny that if L and I come together without serifs, and you read the name, it looks like "FLICKS", a really BAD WORD? And, additionally, I saw a hat on an old man once getting into a BUS, and it said: "It's not where the booger lands, it's how you FLICK IT!"

    Cheers, m_cable... let's do SUSHI...
