Best Picture

I choose "Ray", because it's the only one of the five I've seen!

 

Sideways was pretty good, but shouldn't be the best picture.

The only picture i've seen out of that group is Ray ~ I thought it was a good film, but far from great. The movie is only really watchable because JF elevates it to the next level ~ had someone else been the star it certainly wouldn't have been nominated for best picture.

 

I've seen them all except "neverland."

It's going to be a fight between Ray and Aviator.

They'll give the best actor oscar to Jamie, but best pic will go to Scorsese. And he'll finaly win for best director.

Although the Academy LOVES Eastwood, so who knows...

but if I had to choose?

Honestly, when I first saw the title, I thought it was picks of chicks, like Vida...

I saw the aviator, and Leonardio was awesome and should easily win best actor, however, the movie was ok, not worthy of the best picture, although I haven't seen the others...

 

i thought the Aviator was a terrible movie, I stopped watching after about 1 hour. It was just to boring. The others i haven't seen, so i cannot choose

 

Once again, I have not seen any of the nominees for Best Picture.

I've heard the same thing from several other people.

 

I've only seen Ray and Sideways. I thought Sideways was good, and even though they showed a bottle of my very most favorite wine in the world, I don't think it should win best picture.

One of the other three would have to be awfully special to be better than Ray. Maybe I was blinded by Jamie's stellar performance, but I thought the movie was excellent.

 

Where's "Napolean Dynamite?"

 

I really hope Sideways wins just 'cuz I like that guy who was in Wings.

I havent seen any of these, altho I plan on seeing Sideways soon.

 

"Ray" was a really good movie but let's not overdo it.

Hell, a couple years ago, he performed at some White House ball or some such thing and everybody walked about the room, mingling and ignoring the "national icon."

Now that they made a movie about him, we want to completely lionize him.

"Million Dollar Baby" will win. "Aviator" is a very good B film. "Ray" was too entertaining to win. "Finding Neverland"? Please. "Sideways" was really good but there's been too strong a backlash.
