C-Webb is around 6'10" That's what makes watching Sacramento so fun. Those guys love passing the ball.
Is Toni Kukoc 6'10"?? The only reason Yao should be included is because of his height. He hasn't proven to be an exceptional passer yet. I think he will be in a few years, but there are clearly better choices on that list.
IMO, the best passing big men I have ever seen are; 1) Sabonis, by a mile. 2) Walton 3) Divac. On this list, the best are Divac, Kukoc, and Wallace or Miller, although Webber is better than the latter 2. Shaq's passing is somewhat like Dream's; not great in and of itself, but very effective because of the attention he commands from defenses. Kareem was similar. Malone, Garnett and Duncan are not so much gifted passers as talented individual players whose repertoire includes the basic ability and willingness to get others involved.
MacBeth -- good call! Sabonis. I would have voted for him but he's out of the league now. I just remember those no-looks and behind the backs he used to throw in Portland. Kukoc, back in the day was like 20-10-5, well more like 18-8-6 but wow was he a good passer.
when he was on the bulls, at least, he was listed 6-11. guy's crazy thin and unfit though, i wouldn't be surprised if he's shrunk a bit over the years.

Wow! The athleticism! OMG! I'm sorry to say that I don't think Yao will ever be that good. Well... maybe he'll be as good, but not the same style. Those little grainy videos were some of the best I've ever seen. You know how they have the Michael Jordan experience? They need to make one for Sabonis.
Yeah, Yoa is getting a raw deal with being left off this list. But I think the lack of respect comes from the lack of understanding that drawing the double team and an outlet pass that starts the defense to shift, and the succession of passes started out of the, gives an open man a shot. (Man, that was hard to get out) Anyway, it is that pass that Yao gives out of the double team taht starts a series of passes that eventually leads to an open man. How is that not a good passer? I am very quickly becoming anti-NBA, David Stern is buying into his own BS and IT is what is bring the level of play down. This is why I love college ball, forget the highlights, I love the game played right and recognition for it. Although, the greed for talent, is draining that pool also, I really hate to see how this ends in a couple of years.
What defines the "best" passer? Assists? Accuracy? The fact that they actually DO pass? Lack of turnovers?
