My very first mp3 player was a Sony about 6-7 yrs ago. The hardware was awesome, it was the size of a highlighter and very light. But like previously mentioned, the atrac format sucks! I had to convert every single mp3 I had to atrac. So a 5 GB collection doubled to 10 GB, what a waste of size and time. Converting the songs took forever. The software sucked so bad, I give the mp3 player away to a friend. I've been an ipod person every since. I have gotten 5 ipods since and been very please with them.
