Let me go ahead and WARN you now...**SPOILERS** I was watching "Primal Fear" the other day, and while this certainly isn't one of my favorite movies I love the ending to it. Ed Norton's character has just gotten off on insanity for a murder charge, and he made everyone including his lawyer believe he had multiple personalities. I love it at the end where his lawyer talks to him after the trial and figures out that he's not more than one person. What are some of your favorite endings, even if you didn't necessarily like the rest of the movie?
I liked that in Primal Fear, too. I liked the ending of Out of Sight with the Samuel L . Jackson cameo.
I liked this old Chinese/HK movie called "feng sheng bang" or something. I liked it because all the heros and stuff got killed in the end. Through out the movie they kept getting breaks or what not just like your typical action films, and you expect them to get off in the end. Me and my brother was like ok, now they gonna turn around, some body's gonna save them, but the movie ended with all the "good guys" dying. It was just so cool to see a movie w/o a happy ending.
I thought the end of "The 6th Sense" was great. I also love the ending in Rocky, but it's my favorite movie, so what would you expect?
The end of Lonesome Dove, where Gus is on his deathbed in Montana and asks Captain Call to take him back to Texas to bury him. It gets me every time.
Identity - similar to Primal Fear in that it deals with multiple personalities The Usual Suspects - i still don't get it Reservoir Dogs The Game - awesome ending...well for me, anyway seeing as how i missed the first half of the movie and knew about as much as michael douglas' character Fight Club American History X Mystic River - i read the book first. you can see it coming a mile away, but the ending's still pretty cool and most awesome of all... Donnie Darko - i don't wanna spoil it for anyone, but watch it if you haven't already. It's one of those top movies that you've probably never seen.
***SPOILER************** Spacey was Kaizer Soze. Remember how the guy's eyes flickered when he saw the lighter was lit with the "bad" hand, he realized at that they were all played through out the film.
Signs -- that all the irriations and nuances of his life weren't mere coincidences..that there was purpose Seven -- come on...this ending had me messed up for quite a while
Definitely the Shawshank Redemption. It is the ONLY movie I have ever seen where the ending came out the way I was hoping it would.
i thought there was no kaiser soze character. but i didnt really paid enough attention throughout that movie. i also thought that his other accomplices were just made up characters. by the way, the reason he was brought into that room was simply because of the explosion on the ship and the dead guy in the water right? i hated the movie
Have any of you ever seen the John Sayles movie "Lone Star"? If you haven't, and you are a fan of things Texan, check it out next time it comes on cable or rent it if you get a chance. It's one of my favorite movies. That movie has a pretty wild ending, if you ask me. How would you feel if you found out that the woman you were sleeping with was your half-sister!
The ending to Silence of the Lambs: "I have to run. I'm having an old friend for dinner" priceless........ The original Night of the Living Dead after surviving Zombies all night long the get accidently shot
