Not sure what you are getting at with that list.

However I can address the toher part. Brent is far more talented and overall is the better regular season player. However, Jon got of daddy's balls and is the one who shows up in the playoffs as a steady aim off the bench.

Shawn Marion is the NBA's best kept secret. I don't know what it is, but he really get overlooked too often.

Clipper's Corey Maggette. This guy is amazing, at times can take over a game. He's very exciting to watch. He's got major Hops, can get double figure rebounds is a quarter, has all the fancy dribbling and passing skills, deceptively quick at getting to the basket, can dunk with the best of them which often gets a rather bored crowd in to the game on just one play and can shut down a hot player with some physical play and not to mention he's a real hustler. But this also usually get's him in foul trouble esp. becuase he loves to dunk with authority by going right through them. Given a few more seasons and a little more maturity and he could be come a all-star.

Gets over looked because of all the talent in the team from Odom, Brand, Miller, Q and Kandi. But he really should be a starter on almost any other team. I would love it if the Rockets had traded for him before but now with Posey I think he may be a better fit.

YUP...the guy can score in bunches and is a sure thing to make the ESPN sportscenter top 10 every game he plays with his crazy dunks. I hope he's in the slam dunk contest this year.

How about antawn Jamison? The guy is top 10 in the league in scoring...scored 50+ points in two consecutive games last year, yet no one talks about him even as a top 20 player! Even though he's being consistent every night and is playing very well for the past several years...people STILL think the carter for jamison trade was one of the worst trades of all time. Hmm...where is vince? What will he say when the raptors stink bad enough to get the #1 pick and draft lebron james?

Jamison is not that good. I heard from some GSW fans said he disappearred in the clutch. If he's really a top 20 player, GSW would have made the playoffs now. He's certainly surrounded by more talent than GP, KG, TD etc.

Hmmm...there are lots of teams with good players who are "top 20" that don't make the playoffs...ask last year's steve francis...or last year's stephon marbury...or last year's Ray Allen/Glenn Robinson etc. etc. etc. the list goes on. And PLEASE don't think i intended to mention Jamison in the same sentence as TD/KG/GP! if you think he is in their class you're crazy.

The thread is about the best kept secrets...not superstars or top 20 players or whatever. And certainly Jamison fits that role. I know the guy doesn't have many moves at all (he gets most of his points from garbage baskets like put backs and fast break layups)...but he is still top 10 in the league in scoring and whenever you're top 10 in scoring...you should at least be considered a good player. Yet most people never think of him as a star because he plays on a horrible team...although the warriors are starting to win more this year.

    if you're not really a star...and yet you're top 10 in the L in scoring...then I say you're the best kept secret.

There are lots of things to like about Abdur-Rahim's game, especially his shooting range. But, since he isn't as comfortable facing the basket as other PFs in the league (Walker, Nowitzki, etc.) he can be shut down pretty easily, especially with size mismatches. The Hawks desperately needed a second scoring option up front and that is why Glenn Robinson was brought in. While Robinson can hit mid-range jumpers like layups and teams can't play off of him, his impact has been minimal. I think that the main reason for the team's woes is that neither player can demand double-coverage, and even if they did the team doesn't have many other options. Looks like season ticket-holders can celebrate early.

Now back to the "best kept secret" argument. Bremer is my candidate. For years in the wake of Rick Pitino the Celtics have suffered a backcourt consisting of nothing but combo-guards. This, moreso than shot-selection, is the reason that the Celtics attempt so many three-pointers; there is nobody to control tempo. Bremer does that as well as Kenny Anderson does, only has better range and makes better decisions. Even if he doesn't play the passing lanes as well as Anderson, he is an upgrade at the point-guard position over last year in my opinion.

O'Brien was the first to actually take interest in his game. I know that Atlantic 10 competition isn't the best, but he was among the nation's top scorers last year. He brings both experience and potential.

Cat is definitely a secret. He averages over 20 a game for two or three years and no one outside of Houston knows who he is

lol......Lucious is luscious with his appealing plastic mask...too bad he doesn't have it anymore!!! But he is actually a very good player. Maybe cuz he has Jason Kidd but......

CUTTINO MOBLEY!!!!!!!!! OH MY...THAT'S A GREAT ONE. Literally!

Antawn Jamison...OK....he only had 6 points against Rockets...usually has like 24ppg...but they won. :)

RICKY DAVIS?!?!?! HE's a good player....but he has argued with other players before........ :)

    HMM...THINK!
