Best HORSE Player Ever?

I'll admit some of those shots were quite impressive, but it looks like dude's got too much free time on his hsnds.

 

Ever heard of this guy called Pistol Pete?

 

I agree with Bill Simmons, HORSE should be an all star event. Get rid of the lame NBA, WNBA, and legend event.

 

but can he hit a free throw?

 

Impressive, but most of those shots were more physics than basketball...

I'd have no problems doing 90% of those things...I dont see the difficulty in those shots.

 

That was pretty funny when Bob McAdoo had to watch the replay.

 

The only one that impressed me was when he was standing in between 2 rims at a playground and threw both balls from the backboards in opposite directions and made it in.

I can't imagine how long this took to make and they showed him messing up a lot in his juggling.

 

MAN, he was good.

 

Yea he was good....for his time. The game has evolved and so have tricks, I doubt he could do much of what today's superstars can do.

 

The Great Ball Bouncer... COOL!

 

Ugh. A healthy Maravich would be the best passer and one of the best scorers in the game today.

Man, the league should really bring HORSE back to the allstar weekend.

Pistol footage is fun to watch. He's the only guy ever to play for the Jazz that I don't hate with a passion.

 

And it's not even close.

 

Not to mention he averaged like 44 points a game at LSU, before the 3 point shot was instituted. Had it been his average would have been in the mid 50s.
