Back in the day, Van Exel had the best crossover I can remember and it was pretty dramatic when he broke someone's ankles with it.
Overall handle, it's probably Isiah Thomas.
Tall players - Magic and Penny Hardaway.

Tim Hardaway had the best handles I've ever seen.

I agree with the Tim Hardaway comments. He broke ankles consistently before he blew out his knee. The "Killer Crossover" aka the "UTEP Two Step" was awesome. Those NBA highlight films from years back basically would have his segment doing the "Killer Crossover" again and again and again, it was one of the most unstoppable moves I've ever seen.

I totally agree... he had the best crossover ever.

Fans today love Iverson and Steve Francis' crossovers. They look great when they pull them off, but let's face it, they basically are carrying the ball when they make the move, especially Iverson. That's ultimately what throws the defender off... Iverson and Francis will lean one way and palm the ball for so long that when they go the other way the defender has no choice but to be off balance.

Hardaway blew by his defenders without palming the ball, and he didn't even have to "set the defender up (spacing, balance)" to do so. He could pull it off at any moment. Simply awesome.
