It's pretty self explanatory. Teeth on lions, tigers, bears, beavers, ect. are OK because those are animals with teeth, but teeth on a ROCKET? Three words: Re, Tar, and Ded...
1) There's a BIG difference between teeth on a real object and on a logo 2) It's not a plane on the Rocket's logo, it's a ROCKET! I think a Rocket headed straight towards somebody would be scary enough...I doubt that teeth would make it any scarier... Oh well, it's you and probably five other people that actually liked the old logo, so I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
Ah, so by that do you think every other team with teeth on their logos should remove them? Afterall, it's not a REAL Timberwolf, it's just a drawing. Maybe we should get rid of logos entirely. Don't twist the facts. It was the uniforms that were largely hated. Anyway, I see that you'll never budge in this issue, but I'll be there to defend Sharky the Shark-toothed Rocket's honor from your constant barrage of insults and personal attacks.
the shark rocket was the most childish logo i've ever seen in pro sports. aimed at 6th graders. goofy, goofy, goofy. so glad it's gone.
Was some version of clutchfans/clutchcity around back when the toothy rocket made its debut? I seem to remember lots of online discussion about it; most people didn't appreciate the pinstripe pajamas or especially the teeth on the cartoon rocket. (which would have been scarier without them) But I thought that was before the days of any version of this bbs... anyway, at least we lived through enough years that all that has come and gone. Good riddance. The Rockets' RED glare is back. Please no more blue uniforms or cartoons ever again.
