That's right, I'm home sick with a cold today. Yesterday too. Anyway, I want to lick this thing before Thanksgiving because I've got a lot of family coming in, including the girlfriend's family, many of whom I will be meeting for the first time. I've been taking Sudafed and Oscillococcinum along with lots of Tylenol for the fever. I've got it in check and it's not getting worse, but I want it to get better fast! Any other suggestions?
Drink TONS of water, gotta flush everything out of you. Also, a buddy of mine took a teaspoon of honey with pepper, said it made him feel instantly better.
Antihistamine + Decongestant + Expectorant + Cough Suppressor + Pain Reliever = Feel Better My favorite combo is Claratin, Sutafed, Mussinex w/ cough suppression, and Advil, all in generic because I'm cheap. You can get all in ones like Dayquil, but I've found the seperate meds usually works better because you can tailor the meds to your symptoms.

I started getting a cold Sunday. Lots of water is a must. I use Alka-Selzter Cold in the daytime to keep my head clear and Nyquil at night so I can sleep.

Cherry Flavored Nyquil is the nectar of the gawdz. Anything that is 50% alcohol has to be good for you.
Use ZICAM; you can get them at any grocerie or convenience store. Get the nose swabs not the spray (the spray has been accused of causing you to lose smelling sensation). I use it everytime I feel a cold coming and when I do have a cold and it knocks it out right away. Feel better.
