How much beer do you drink weekly? Let's settle upon a unit of bottles or cans. I don't get this beer thing in America. Is your life really that much better because you drink beer? What other advertising gimmicks have you succumbed to?
no beer for me, either I almost succumbed to the line from "Spin City" when the mayor is asked "What is in a Mai Tai" to which his response is "uhh... what are you, a woman? Have a beer" it still tastes like ass to me, however
What he said. Cans of soda a week: 5-7. Cans of Liquid Crack: Let's just say I'm posting this message from the afterlife.
This is really surprising. Three late-night responses and none of you beer-drinkers. I guess those guys are on the floor or something, huh? I drink about 6 bottles a month-- or less. I start a lot of beers and let my wife finish them. The first few sips are okay but it goes downhill pretty fast. I only want a beer with a few foods and I seriously doubt that I have ever had a second beer. I really don't get this boistrous worship of beer that permeates our culture.
I have around 12 beers a year, I have my kids all the time and I don't drink around them. I just don't feel comfortable doing that around them. The only time I drink is when me and my fiancee go out and shoot pool, and that is not very often.
Not much beer for me either. I can kill a half gallon of Captain Morgans Spice rum in a day if I put my mind to it though.
It fluctuates. I'll go through one week where I'll have seven, ten beers. Then three weeks of maybe one a week. Averages out to probably two a week.
During football season i drink much a decent amount of it. Id say around 24-36 a week. If my school has a home game then maybe more. It tastes great. I also find that beer is much easier to drink socially and control how hammered you are than mixed drinks.
I want to amend what I said. Maybe someone can figure this out for me. It's not really the taste that I dislike so much as it is that beer makes me feel really bloated. I could drink soft drinks or tea without that feeling, but I rarely if ever make it to the second beer. What causes that? I know of no food allergies that I have...
15 a week. Guinness is my favorite. I am in the process of quitting however. I have been drinking for almost 20 years, since I was fifteen. It's getting old (like me), but I had many a great time drinking beer under a Texas sky...
On average, I probably drink about 8-12 beers a week. Usually in football season it is a bit more than the rest of the year. As for feeling bloated, that happened to me when I first started drinking beer but I rarely get that feeling now. There is nothing better than an ice cold Miller Lite after work.
I drink 2 liters of free beer every Saturday at Saint Arnold Brewing Company Between friday night parties, monday night football, and saturday college tailgating, I'd say I drink too much :\
I have never liked beer too much, hard liquor has always interested me more. However, being at college, 8-10 beers every friday night and saturday night is inevitable. Also 5-6 beers on thursday nights since its Poker night. However, most of the time I try to fake drinking and acting tipsy, even though I am clear as a bell. It gives me an edge in the games.
I guess 2-4 beers weekly. I am a social drinker and lately I have not been that social (I usually drink Jack on the rocks instead of beer anyway). I do like to have a couple brews when I watch Rockets games, however.
Cans of beer I just downed a couple hours ago for my first official 'drunken post' at the Pike frat party: 4 (Yeah, it doesn't take me much) That's also not counting the few shots I had earlier...
When I was living in Aptos, I would usually have a beer with dinner. The crisp cold beer contrasting with the hot nachos or pizza or whatever while watching a game or a show I liked was a great way to spend some time after work. Now, I harly drink anything at all. I haven't had a beer in months. It isn't hard to give up, like crack, caffiene, or nicotene. I struggled a lot more with giving up sodas than I did with beer.
