...and the Weather Underground and Progressives and Bill Ayers and the coming insurrection (?), France and Italy as a Muslim Caliphate, China controlling India, Tunisian snowballs, and, well, just a bunch of ridiculous paranoid hooey. Thank goodness his ratings are tanking. Anyone that could watch a whole hour of this (Hi Mom and Stepdad!) are bonkers.

Seems your family is suffering from:

    http://www.frumforum.com/fox-geezer-syndrome

I caught a couple minutes of Ann Coulter on Hannity criticising Obama for voicing support (which, honestly, is quite limited) for the demonstrator in Egypt because the administration didn't voice the same support for demontrations in Iran and because "there aren't any women in among the protesters in Egypt" and "nothing good can come from a crowd without any women." Hannity had to point out that there were, in fact some women in the crowd, since while they were talking, the program itself was showing photos from the protest, some of which had women in them, but said "but the women were few."

And here's a blog post quoting Limbaugh's take:

    http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2011/02/how-theyre-attacking-obama.html

Nothing suprising, the lesson of what's happening in Egypt, as the lesson to be drawn from all events, is that Obama is evil and dumb.

I got to the three minute mark, that's when he begs viewers to dvr his show, tune in every night and tell all their friends to tune is as well...

this was right after he said he didn't want to treat anyone like they were a moron...

and lo and behold I get a facebook message this morning from some DUNCE about Islamic Brotherhood, Iran, and 1979.

"Truth has no agenda, but the media does"

Yes indeed. Glen Beck's agenda is to get rich of paranoid idiots.

Glen Beck should be 2010 man of the year in Time. - yea take that...His style is similar to mine. I don't like Rush, Hannity is alright, but Glen truly connects the dots. . .I got my libertysafe, my food insurance,..(good food btw), I have even thought about gold, but I'd rather invest in bullets - (actually a good investment)...Yeppers. . .

What do we want to know about Egypt? Glen Beck should go back to scare people about America.

Wow, I couldn't even watch more than 3 minutes. He really is annoying. But I can see how he is popular among the weak minded (the same reason why Wilders is popular).

it is ironic how he is talking about people being played.

He feeds off the paranoid. But, then again it makes him ****loads of $$$ so why should he care.

Sad thing is how many people are willing to listen.

Didn't know his ratings were tanking, though.

This is what bugs me about Beck and Also Wilders. They use fear to get rich/power. They do not care about what is best for their country/world. They only care about themselves and are willing to make the situation worse, by deviding te people even more, just to profit from it. Disgusting.

    Hahahaha.

Dude, the problem with you is that you think you know what the "lesson of what's happening in Egypt" is.

What do you know about it?

No one knows if this is going to go the way of South Korea in 1989 or Iran in 1979. We don't even know who's backing these demonstrations or any clue what kind of government is going to emerge from it. We don't even know exactly what particular axe each of these young protesters are grinding. They might not know it themselves, except that Egypt's economy sucks and the place has been a ****hole at least since Sadat was killed.

The funny thing is, we're in the middle of the thing long before its denouement but you're mocking these fools because their premature rorschach imprinting of current events doesnt match your own.

I'm going to remind you that Ayatollah Kazem Shariatmadari eventually turned on his own revolution in Iran and many of those officials arrested during Tiananmen have turned around to actually run the Chinese government 20 years later. Those morons on TV probably dont know what the *** they're talking about but how are you so prescient that you not only KNOW they are wrong but are so enlightened that you can mock them about the grand "lesson" of these protests long before things are even near the end?

Paranoid misinformation merchants (and the phony baloney "news" platforms they are given to shout from) are a very large part of the problem in this country.

People who deal in deceit, be it lunacy or intellectual, deserve no respect and need to be called to task at every opportunity.

Glad to see America is growing weary of Beck's schtick, but sadly I think once his microphone is taken away, there will be an even bigger idiot with a bullhorn ready to replace him.

This. But maybe as TV becomes less and less popular, there is hope.
