Is that the Titans new wideout? Oh, he's going to play QB, HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
don't trivialize my pain. it's real and it's deep. maybe if i had seen mario williams play even one down of college football, i'd feel better.
If the Titans are smart they won't let him off the bench for most of this season. I like Vince Young but I'm still skeptical about him being able to come into the pro-game and dominate it like he did college. Pro-D's are much much faster and more complex than college and with so many great running QB's already they are much better at containment. Vince is going to have a hard time just taking off when he can't find his first receiver open or be able to run over a Brian Urlacher assigned to spy on him. IMO the Titans would be well served to have McNair around to tutor Vince since McNair in his prime was the ideal of a big strong running and throwing QB.
Considering Vince didn't come in and dominate at college, either, I doubt he will do it at the next level. His MO has been to learn, get up to speed, then dominate. You're right, the Titans should not play Vince that much this year - maybe just a bit towards the end of the season.
McNair has already said he wants no part of tutoring anybody and he probably won't even be on the tittie boy's roster next year. That's why they signed Kerry Collins.
Man, now that I think about it this thread does sound a little gay...In attempts to straighten things out: Um....wait what was I trying to do?
