The music video is supposed to premiere on Friday, but the play it sometimes during the night on MTV. Just wanted to give a heads up to y'all. I'm not a big Christina fan. I'm a guy, so yes, I think she's hot, though a little less hot than a couple of years ago. The song is nothing cutting edge or anything. It's a nice ballad with pianos and some violins. It's a simple song (for those over the age of 18), but I guess the MTV audience would find it quite mentally challenging. It's a catchy, nice, and moving song. Now to the video. I'm gonna start talking to my friends about this. I thought that by the end of college, people would be a lot more open-minded. I hope that all those socialogy, philosophy, anthropology, and psychology classes would get people to be more comfortable or at least understanding of things that they are unfamiliar with. Two guys kissing in a music video should not be termed as "gross" when your talking to adults. Just my opinion. Sure, it can be weird. Whatever...I'm just rambling. Back to the video. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a breath of fresh air to me. I watch too much MTV, considering how suck ass it is, but "Beautiful" makes it a little better. Before that it was the White Stripes, and before that the Gorillaz.
Britney needs to hurry up and make another video so everyone can see what they're missing when christina is considered one of the hottest people on mtv. as for the video, two guys are kissing in it?? hadn't even heard about that. of course i haven't watched much mtv lately (even though i generally like that type of music).
I happened to be watching MTV yesterday for the hell of it and a random video was shown with an extreme closeup of the mouths of a guy and girl kissing. You could actually see tongues being exchanged and saliva as well. NOW THAT WAS GROSS! I changed the channel immediately.
Hey ... if you like 'Beautiful', which is an ok song, but nothing compared to some of the other stuff on her album, check out these 2 songs from her album: Walk Away Get Mine, Get Yours See how you like these two.
Homosexuals are the group that made AIDS what it is today. I have no sympathy for the abuse they get.
Just so you don't get a chance to edit..... Before we knew what AIDS was, and how it was transmitted, a very good high school friend of mine died a very painful death.
Why would I edit it? I'm not a p***y that backs out of things. I don't need to in this case because it is almost proven fact. I didn't say they created it, or that God created it to kill homosexuals or any of that nonsense. They caused the WIDESPREAD of AIDS. Simple as that, open and shut. If you don't believe it/don't want to just read about the "clubs" with the holes in the wall. They lined up holes in a wall with barriers separating the rooms. The person stuck their penis in the hole and recieved oral or anal sex from the person in the other room. Some of these people had sex with THOUSANDS of men and HUNDREDS that they didn't even know. Hmmm......
Did I say that? No I did not. That didn't cause the SPREADING of the AIDS epidemic. It just didn't, eventhough it caused some people to get it.
NYKRule, you can't spin the ignorance of your statement. You are blaming a GROUP of people for the behavior of individuals in that group.
I have no sympathy for you ignoring this simple little fact. I could go crazy getting articles of stories from the 80s with the LA-NY-SF gay meccas, but why should I? No one would friggin' believe me regardless. When ~75% of something is showing up in a SMALL percentage of the population, shouldn't the majority of them be blamed? There are good people, just like in any other "stereotype", but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be blind to the rest of it.
I thought most of the AIDS stuff that I'm about to type up was COMMONLY known fact, but some people obviously don't have a clue of what I'm referring to: HIV originated from SIV, Simian Immuno Deficiency. Simian obviously refers to monkey or ape-like, and SIV jumped from monkeys to humans. A tribe in Africa had a ritual of eating and drinking the blood of monkeys, I believe some sort of Green-haired one. No one knows HOW AIDS showed up in America, but it eventually did. There were very few spread out cases of AIDS in America in the late 70s. This changed in the 80s. The whole Gay America movement started in the 80s. Now there is nothing wrong with Gay Rights, but the methods in which they "demonstrated" were completely wrong. Almost all of the demonstrators went to the LA/SF/NY gay "meccas". Some of them had sex with thousands of men, hundreds of them they did not have prior or further contact with (refer to my previous post for more details). A LOT of them contracted Hepatitis A/B, all of the STDs you can think of, and the worst of them all, AIDS. In the 80s, the majority of people that had AIDS were homosexual males. There was never an epidemic like this, so the blame was placed on the crazy group (Large as in majority, but not EVERY, which many people have tried to pin on me) in the LA/NY/SF Meccas. So, in the early stage of AIDS in America, the overwhelming majority were homosexual men. No one really CARED about these people, so they didn't care to research it. The first time the general public cared was when a rich lady recieved AIDS through a blood transfusion. Then they cared. These days, the majority of AIDS holders are IV drug using scum, and they don't even know they have AIDS. Now, if I said I have no sympathy for the IV drug using scum of the 00s, it wouldn't cause a ruckus would it?
I thought it was gay chimpanzee's that first started the epidemic. Then Gaetan Dugas got overpowered by one and it changed his sex life forever, and he turned gay. Now the 42 million people living with HIV today can trace their contact back to Dugas...that gay bastid.
I agree with NYKRule that homosexual men are largely responsible for the early spread of AIDS in America (followed later by IV drug users). In Africa, where AIDS is a much bigger problem, I don't think that is the case. I would blame prostitution and the rape of women for the epidemic in Africa.
