Batting Cages?

    Pitching machines can be adjusted to spit out fly balls and grounders.

    sure...but if you're contained to a cage, then what? how is that of value?

    for tryouts in one of the leagues my son plays in, they turn a pitching machine on and set it to get fly balls out to the outfield...to see how kids move to the ball on a baseball field.

    but not in the confines of a "cage."

    This is good stuff. I didn't know this.

    But... I guess you can use something like a Tennis machine for something like that... and make the fielder's area wider than "a cage." But... I see you're getting the idea. :eek:
