i guess you've never seen his performances in the playoffs if you think he's the last person we should be concerned about. i'm most concerned about him and rafer in the playoffs.
This is a valid concern. As I recall, Memphis fans were somewhat down on Battier because he never would show up for the playoffs...
No one shows up for Memphis in the playoffs. It's not Battier's fault. Battier plays the same way he always does-- he's mostly a spot-up shooter on offense. Last season, his numbers were down because they played the Mavs and those Mavs know how to close out on open shooters.
