This can't be serious. Why on earth would they waive Jon Barry? Do they plan to pick up Tim Thomas?!?! I've got to guess that's the case. Tim Thomas or Jim Jackson. Hopefully Tim Thomas, at least he's young, quick, long and athletic.

I wonder if they're going to add Jon Barry to the coaching staff or something like they did with Ward?

    wow. I'm shocked.

Barry once said JVG was the best coach he ever played for. I wonder if he still thinks so.

I wonder if the Rockets are going to bring back Jackson. I sure hope not.

Oh my, that is news. CD/JVG cleaning house. Maybe we can land TT with the roster spot. JB is a funny dude, maybe he can do some broadcasting here, I wish him well whatever he does.

I would have MUCH rather have cut Ryan Bowen, even though it's a different situation...

How in the world could you waive our best shooter, our energy guy, and a kickass passer?

WTF? He only didn't retire becuase he wanted to play one more time for the rockets.

    Damn that's cold. And stupid.

Edit: Eddiewassnubbed nailed it. We kept Bowen and waived Barry? That's absolutely DUMB.

Was Barry really done? Was the injury the final straw? Quite a quick drop from last season.

    Very disappointing.

Out of the whiteboy power squad, who would have thought Bowen would be the last remaining member?

Man, this is out of left field, Barry was one of our best shooters and energy guys. This is like a reverse splash, where the poop comes out of the toilet and goes back where it came from.

It can only mean two things, I haven't counted the players on the active roster but its:
    1. They cut him to activate Fitch, Fitch was sitting on the bench in street clothes because we didn't have a spot?
    2. They are going to sign another player like TT.

    I hope its the latter.
