Last night 36 points 18 assists, and 8 boards. on the season, 22 points 9 assists a game. Is he back? This is the type of guy who will absolutely thrive on Don Nelson's system, going up and down.
Yep, and Patrick O'Bryant's development will be seriously hampered. He's got serious potential, get him before he's ruined, Carroll Dawson.
For the moment. He'll be injured in about 2-3 weeks,no doubt right after GS starts to lose some games.
Warriors are my local team and I just love how they're playing. You would expect that they are running a lot like the Suns and Mavs with their Davis, Ellis, Richardson, Pietrus lineups but somehow it's a lot more methodical and half-court set ups. They have an uncanny way of finding the open man and making open baskets and threes.
Its easy to do that against teams who play no defense. That style of play won't cut it in the playoffs. Regards, Steve Nash
Golden State fans will probably be happy if they make the playoffs, they'll be ok with losing in the playoffs for now.
yeah, they've only been to back to back western conference finals, last year without even having amare. what a crappy team and system.
People need to stop crapping on the Suns style. They've had more success in the regular season and playoffs than all but a few teams the last couple of years. And it's not like they crapped out in the playoffs. They were injury ridden before the playoffs and even more injured during the playoffs, and still had a good series vs the Mavs. As for the Warriors, Bdavis better keep it up. He's on my SalaryCapFantasy team and was 2 rebounds from a 10pt tripple double bonus. And in reality he looked great. Rockes fans don't be fooled. Our defense is good, better than Sactown in my opinion, but quick guards are stars in the modern NBA for a reason. If Bdavis played the way he did yesterday vs the Rockets, he'd be unstoppable also. Look no further than Ben Gordon. Bdavis has a great combo of speed, quickness, and strength. His shot is still streaky in my opinion, and his shot selection was great last night, but is still his biggest enemy in my opinion.
Baron Davis always has the talent. It's just that he's injury prone. Sell high if you have him on your fantasy team.
If he stays healthy this could be a huge year for him. If JRich is his old self and the two guys mesh, they could carry Golden State into the playoffs. But it's still way too early to tell about Baron Davis or the Warriors. I don't follow them much any more but they've gotta be fun to watch.
Me too! I got both of them on my fantast team as well. When I picked him up everybody was sayin that he is too risky of a pick but man is he wreckin it this year.
the goal for every team is not to make the conference finals but to win a championship! The suns will never win a championship.
I'm pretty sure the Suns are trying to win a championship, not just make it to the conference finals. Sigh. I don't think the Suns will win it either, but every year only 1 team wins it, and the Suns are getting closer than most teams. Just because they haven't won it yet, doesn't mean they're stupid or running a bad franchise. I mean hell, before Detroit won their championship, most people would say that they were dumb for not having a superstar in their midst. The NBA champs over the years have won in many different ways, and the NBA changes every year. There is no magical formula to win, and even if you do everything right, you still might not win. So again, while I don't think the Suns are going to win it, there's no logical reason to be dissing them as much as most people do. If you're going by the evidence, they're closer to a championship than every team other than the Mavs, Spurs, or Heat.
so when does close enough...cut the mustard. Nash is aging and Amare is a shell. Cant stop anyone inside of 2 mins.
Don Nelson is a genius when it comes to offense, he's been easily the best at it for as long as I can remember. The guy is a wizard. Good hire by the Warriors, because his philosophy fits perfectly with the personnel on that team.
