I can't believe the Rockets PA announcer or whoever is in charge of the introduction music would play Barney's "I Love You" song as the intro for the Raptors lineup rundown. I was laughing my a$$ off when I heard it. You could tell that the Raptors players were having a hard time keeping smiles off their faces when they heard the music. CLASSIC! I LOVED IT! ------------------
That was almost as funny as when they played the Beach Boys "California Girls", when introducing the Golden State Warriors. Rocks ------------------
Hahaha. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
I heard it. LOL ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
The first time they started doing that was in the 95 finals against Orlando--they played "It's a Small World"...I was listening to a radio broadcast on the net the other day and they were playing some Alvin & the Chipmunks song when announcing Utah's players...I love it, although it has to be somewhat demeaning to the other team. I'm surprised Stern hasn't fined the club for it. ------------------
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that they play that tune every time the Raptors come to town. As a matter of fact I can remember when Stoudamire was still with them and they played it. -Turbo
