Damn lucky you. A lot of us here don't even live in the country.

Hope you enjoy it and don't forget to stand up the whole time and scream your lungs out. Rep it up for us CF'ers.

I know we all b**** about those corporate fans but the truth is we need them. If they didn't pay $195 per seat, Les would probrably move the team to a city that did. Its a double edge sword. You think those $10 seats does anything besides make a stadium look full. How many of those $10 seats would it take to pay TMacs salary. The truth is we need corporations shelling out the bucks for those front row seats and corporate boxes or we wouldn't have a team in town.

I was actually slightly glad that the Rocket's winning streak finally ended, because it meant that I could finally watch Rockets games without TNT, ABC, NBA TV or some other channel picking it up and preventing me from watching it on the Internet.

The real fans don't bring in the revenue like the bandwagon fans. Don't believe me? Find the average income among Red Rowdies and compare it to the average income of the people up in the suites or even court side.

Stern will tell you (not really but he thinks it). It isn't about the integrity of the game or the loyal fans. It's about the money.

I think we'll have to get some playoff success before people start regularly showing up for our regular season games against bottom feeders.

Umm, maybe he doesn't live in Houston? I mean, it is an Internet forum, and as many have mentioned, they would give anything to be able to come here and watch games. I live in Lubbock but I've got family in Houston so I come down 3-4 times a year and I go to a game every time unless it's a summer trip.

So here's my complaint, as a paying attendee: it would be nice if the TC generated the same type of atmosphere as in the following team' arenas: Utah Jazz, Portland Blazers, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Sac Kings, to name a few. Yes, we are definitely better than the Hawks, T-Wolves, Heat, etc., but I mean we should be better than them. Face it- it's a bandwagon, football-baseball town, it's been a bandwagon-based place for basketball even in 1994 and 1995 (didn't sell out the playoff game in Phoenix, thus Maxwell's infamous "to hell with the fans, we're doing this for ourselves" quote), and there's very little we can do about it. As long as the team wins, screw the arena atmosphere.

I would look a group of fiercely loyal and truly energetic fans myself. Medium to large in number but always bringing energy and intense atmosphere to the arena.

Truth is there's isnt a business out there that aims SOLEY at its core audience. And NBA and pro sports ARE businesses first. WE might not want them there, but the Rockets and the league are doing ANYTHING it takes to put them there, even if its just for a short term cash grab. So the corpies in the good seats and bandwagoners are there to stay.

But I'm not in Houston anymore so I'm not around them to feel the annoying effects.
