Interesting choice of body line. Very dramatic. More at :

Btw - UH ballroom starts again for summer June 6 at 5:00. Very nice group, cheap, fun dancing. I'll teach a few intermediate classes with a partner, maybe some cha cha, maybe some samba.
We've had some pretty girls come through there originally from India, Armenia, Persia, China, Vietnam, Russia, and Eastern Europe. Seems to attract an international group. Not so many suburban girls.

This is my third time to try to reply! Darn computer keys keep dumping my post.

Congrats in finding a girl that wants to move with you! That's a lot of fun.

    uh-ballroom is a good place to start. Here's a link :

Rice also has open summer classes on Thurs nights.

Otherwise, you're in studios. Depends on what you want.

Strictly social - meet and greet - SSQQ. More a c/w place.

AIA the Dance Place on Beverly Hills off Chimmney Rock near Richmond has a good mix of group and private. Nice place.

King Dancing Center on S. Rice at Glenmont has some very good competitive private coaches - like that kid's from the picture's parents. Also some decent group classes.

Salsa clubs usually have some free lessons early, too. That's a fun start.

Then there's more - chinese dances, westside, franchises (danger!) and so on. I'll post more if you like.

    Best wishes to you.
