basically . . .after watching 3 of these things It comes down to . . . nothing should be universal . .. The good/superior Stuff should only be for people who can afford it i.e. 9$ a day Toll Roads [you poor *****ers gotta sit in traffic] i.e. Pre-K [You poor *****ers' kids will just have to 'be behind'] etc The precepts are 1. A minority of people should make an enormous profit out of it [i.e. a private corporation] 2. only those who can 'afford it' deserve it It is only GOOD if these conditions are met Rocket River yea. . . .we get it
River, You should watch them all, they are not all about that.... You are right though, a lot of it was people that can afford these things complaining about the government wasting money on creating competition for them. However, they are right in that the government usually sucks at it...specifically Pre K education, as they are already screwing up at K-12... There is a balance though in getting something good for the poor and elevating them to middle class and not screwing the people that are doing well.... This country is founded on people having opportunity, we need to find a way to give a hand up, and not a hand out. DD
OK. Are you also in opposition to the Beltway 8 toll road because "poor" people cant use it? There are many things poor people can not afford, are you against all of them too? When I used to commute from Cypress I would only use the road one way due to the cost. That was my choice. Poor children are not doing too well with the current government public school system that they "deserve". I never went to a socialized pre-k and did just fine. There are many, many things that I can not afford however. Perhaps one day I will. Thanks.

Well that is very understandable. That is your corrupt government in action. It is now just another tax revenue. But the idea of paying for the roads you use shouldn't be such an outrageous concept. I pay for nearly everything else that I use. I don't mind tolls, I just don't like dishonest government taxation.
You do pay for your roads. . . Through Taxes Toll roads are like double dipping to me I think all this privatization stuff is nothing more than a way to NOT CLEAN UP what we have [people who don't want the government paying for anything .. got into office. . .underfunded it and overregulated it . . . .] The reason 'private' companies do it 'cheaper' is because they are not Overregulated and Underfunded We hold our government to a higher standard than these 'private' companies If these 'private' Pre-Ks wanna kick out all the stupid kids. . .we allow it then we want to applaud them because they have no stupid kids?????
