We need an athletic shot blocking rebounding player at the PF slot more than anything else.

Due to physical limitations, Yao will NEVER be a good rebounder, he is to slow of foot to ever be good at it.

We need players that compliment Yao and Tmac and cover up their deficiencies.

PF is the biggest problem..and I for one am ready to try the Bad man....

He may be only 20, but he hustles and blocks shots....Bring him over here, and put Mo T, Spoon, JH on ice.....

We need energy players, and the Bad man is certainly that.

We need defense, and that Bad man is that.

We need ANYTHING...and the Bad Man is that.

If you saw Malick Badienne sitting in a crowd, would you recognize him?

Now THIS is what I call desperation! On second thought, why not? What's one more PF who can't play the PF position in the NBA?

Someone else in the game post brought up James Thomas, he is averaging 17rbs a game in the NBDL...why not call him up?

Even if Badaine comes, do you really think JVG will play him? Not a chance, the guy barely plays on the German team.

I agree we need ANYTHING, but Badaine isn't going to help this team anymore than Spoon would.

We need to fire JVG. We couldn't possibly get any worst, nothing bad could come of firing JVG.

Badiane was promoted last year from the 2nd league to the 1st league and played backup minutes. He was playing starter minutes this year for the first three games, doing well and being touted in the German press as an upcoming star. Then his shoulder was injured about a week ago and he just had surgery and is probably out for the rest of the Euro season.

Posted this in a thread I started a couple of days ago.

Dennis Rodman anyone???? Forget the things he's been through in the past. What I do know about him is he gave 125% when he was on the court in the past, I think he will give the team a much needed shot in the arm when it comes to giving his body up for the team, diving for loose balls getting rebounds etc. One thing that is showing now, people used to clown Kelvin Cato for the way he played, but it is obvious we are missing him now, he was quicker on his toes to guard the bigger Centers and Power Forwards. Yao just cant keep up, he is just so big that he moves in slow motion on defense. I say sign Rodman up for a 10 dayer to see if he can still contribute at PF until we get another solution... Hey we have nothing to lose, If we dont try something we will find ourselves too far back in the deep western conference. Something will change because Les is spending way too much in salaries for this kinda record/play.

This Rocket team is eerily looking more and more like those ugly JVG Knick teams in the mid and late 90's. We may be the least asthetically pleasing team in the league.

To me its a no brainer, he will come cheap, if it doesnt work out, cut him! Only reason they wont do it, is it will look as a desperation act to the rest of the league. Van grumpy needs to quit ego trippin and sit his team down and ask the players himself for suggestions.
