Anyone else think the game called bad, seemed like every video clip was of shaq or kobe, what about the other team that was playing i forgot the rockets were at the game....
I like the work of Doug and the other dude 10x better than Bill Walton and his crew.....
I also noted that Kenny and Charles never have anything good to say about our team when they played for us....
Kenny and Charles are very smart basketball guys they know when we are playing well and when we are on TNT seems like we never get any love from them....

The announcers freakin got an orgasm everytime The Lord Almighty (aka Kobe) scored.

You are right about every mother freakin clip being about the Lakers. Could the NBA be anymore biased?

And Laker fans yelling "refs suck" is just simply amazing.

I dont even get mad anymore. The refs were decent, but the amount of Lakers ass-kissing that goes on is beyond ridiculous. I think all 12 Lakers and Phil Jackson should line up at midcourt and pull their shorts down. That way the announcers and refs can do to them what Kobe did to that girl.

It doesn't matter. The Rockets sucked tonight and the Lakers played and hustled all over the floor. If the Rockets were up in this game, then it would be all Yao and Francis photo/video shots.

I really wish Walton did this game. Is it a coincidence that Yao had one of worst performances ever when Bill wasn't there?

Lakers are just like Tiger Woods..... They know that the competition is breathing down their neck and know how to finish.

    Talk about Lakers bias!

Cheryl Miller just interviewed Shaq and asked about Yao.

    Shaq just said:

Things you pump up will eventually lose air, I am a brick I don't flatten out....

Diesel doesnt run out of energy blah blah blah

The way Cheryl was talking to Shaq I thought she was going to service him right there on the spot.

Then I remembered Shaq is not her type if you know what I mean. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I wish some crappy team would give Doug Collins a job just so I wouldn't have to hear him spout his nonsense. Has that guy ever coached a winning team? Why is he so well regarded as a broadcaster? Go back to being MJ's puppet, Collins.

Shaq's pride just pisses me off...He comes up with b****y excuses when he gets outplayed, and then when he dominates a game, the guy's ego shoots up.

    PATHETIC

Did we see Yao rubbing in the fact that he outplayed shaq the first 3 games of the season? I didn't think so...

I don't know about Kenny and Charles not loving the Rockets, I remember when Pippen came back to play the Rox after that summer, and they showed the clip of fans booing, Kenny booed along with them. I remember when Rudy got fired, Charles said something to the extent of "Rudy is still pulling the knife out of his back".

agreed, although shaq hardly dominated tonight. he threw up some horrible shots in this game. you can definitely tell hes lost it compared to what he used to be. by this time next year, yao should be dominating shaq with no problems. and i hope he rubs it in shaq's face...

Whenever the Lakers lose on TNY while Magic Johson is there you can actually see that he is depressed as hell. Kenny and Charles on the other hand could care less about the Rockets. I lose more and more respect for those two jackasses everytime I hear them.

    Come on gang.

They were just talking about the better team tonight.

If the Rocks played decently at all, they would have talked about them.

I hate how charles ALWAYS says jeff is the ugly brother and then shows clips of Jeffs hair. Charles could be close to Gheorghe Muresan in looks himself.

I just wish one....just one time tonight....that one broadcaster or anyone in the studio would get one thing right. For one, Yao is not a jumpshooter that likes to spot up like Kenny Smith said. Meanwhile Doug Collins is talking out of his "you know what" when he kept saying that Houston is an inside/outside team and trying to imply that these are the same Rockets of old when Olajuwon was around.

I just wish these guys would do their homework or at least pretend to know what they are talking about. At one point during halftime they talked about the great game Shaq was having and how bad Yao sucked. Well fat boy had 12 pts and 1 rebound...to Yao's 6 pts and a rebound...how is that a dominating performance?

After tonight I just dont see them winning it all. I know they are really hot right now and they won 10 in a row...but Houston played as horrible as I have seen them play this year and they had no business being in this game. I dont want to sound like sour grapes...But everyone acted like tonight was game 1 of the Finals...I mean, shouldnt the hottest team in the league beat the 7th seed by more than 8 points?

I never had respect for Barkley. I was so furious when he was traded to the Rockets, although I could only remotely follow the NBA back then, I really liked Dream and became a Rockets fan. But I Did know that trouble was coming, a guy threw out pretencious, pseudo smart comments everyday, despreately wanted a ring, just knocked on every door to get into a better team, personally, I have no respect to that kind of people. If you think you are great, then be the man to try your best and turn the team around. I have to say I respect Stockton. I am sure he was sad that he never won the ring, but everyone knows he's a great player, and he tried his very best. But look at Malone, same as Barkley, to be honest, I just don't see them winning this year. That's the same reason that I was so shocked that in the beginning of the season, so many so called fans of Yao wanted him to a "better" team, with more fans support, more money, better casts etc. What an insult to Ming, and they called themselves his fans, but they were actually trying to destroy him. Only losers escape and seek excuses. How can you ever be great, if you never dare to try? Lots of people in the league have rings, but who would remember them? It's important to win, but it's more important how you win.

Exactly DD. Aside from Mobley being the only player to consistently hit shots and the Francis alley-oop, the Rockets didn't really give the announcers anything to get excited about. Yao played away from the basket all night, Francis couldn't get anything going, Mo was in foul trouble and once again the over-rated defense didn't do anything special.

Really? Clyde Drexler never won anything before he came to Houston. I guess you don't respect him either.

Man, I was thinking the same thing and I am far from a conspiracy or media favoritsim theorist or anything like that..

I am so exhausted listening to Doug Collins in that monotone voice droll over the Lakers and their resurgence and anything else laker related....he says the same thing over and over and over and over again.....he says nothing original....get him off the Mike.

I had to turn the volume off and slap on 610 and listen to Gene rant about Malone :)

btw: lakers were very luck imho...we had so many opportunities to win this game, if we could not make those unforce turnovers and had a better game from MoT and if Cato was back and if Ming would have hit anything....oh yea, had the refs given us more respect to the line.....

it wasn't so much that they were bais for the Lakes as much as they just kept talking and talkign about nonsense - and ignoring the plays

you would have thought it was one of those 30+ point blowouts
and they were trying to keep it interesting by going on

    andonandonandonandonandon....

and oh yeah... the Doggie - the Roackets have NOT struggled against the T-wolves (which is what he said during the 2nd quarter)

forgive me for saying it, but...

    BRING BACK WALTON
