Good comdeians gone bad ... Richard Pryor Robin Williams (last special I saw he was really off his game, maybe he could bounce back if he cut back on his acting) Gallagher BTW, the one TV show I saw with Carrot Top was pretty good and my expectations going could not have been any lower.
I know lots of people like him, but I just never cared for Bill Hicks. He just wasn't that funny to me. There should be laws against Gallagher and Carrot Top.
Some of his stuff was funny. I laughed him saying he was uncircumsized and saying it looked like leg warmers and he started to sing the 'Fame' theme song....that was funny. Did you guys hear 610 last night? I forgot who's show it was...I only listened to the morning show. They had callers call in with famous womens names that they would like to see in PlayBoy. The show was simply STUPID. I actually changed to a different station. They sounded like a couple of teenage wusses. I wanted to hear sports talk damnit. Okay.....Carry on.
I guy few people seem to know about that I find really funny is Dane Cook. Plus he loves performing in Houston; recorded his CD at the Laugh Stop. www.danecook.com
He wasn't the best but IMO he wasn't all bad. My favorite line regarding women getting hairweaves.... I'll you're bald-headed on Monday... You can't have hair down to your @ss on Wednesday.
Agreed on both. I listened to Bill Hicks' stuff on XM and couldn't really muster much of a laugh. Gallagher and Carrot Top are painful to listen to. So is their brother Pauly Shore.
I listen to XM comedy pretty regularly. Most acts on there, I either enjoy or can at least sit through. If I see Jackie Martling's name come up on the display, however, my hand cannot change the channel quickly enough.
And he's been around FOREVER and it's like nobody's ever heard of him. His bit about fishing shows is classic. And elementary school spelling bees. And going to the eye doctor. And...
Would you like me to "YouSendIt" some of ALL of GeorgeLopez's stuff, Donny? Surely George Lopez wasn't on Comedy Central, was he? If he was, which stand up stuff do you remember? There is no point of me "YouSendIt"-sharing the stuff you already heard.
