Looks like summer is officially over, least for me starting tomorrow. Anyone else happy or sad about it? Outside of finals and projects at the end of the year I love being in college. I for one am not that upset, summer can be boring doing the same routines. I am ready for college football to start, I think Tech has a pretty solid team this year and can do some damage for once in the Big 12. I am ready for NFL start, sorry I don't count the preseason for anything. I have to force myself to watch that.
I'm ready for school to start. (tomorrow, thank goodness) I'm sick of nothing going on. Every year it always seems to take an irritatingly long time for things to really get moving.
surprisingly, I'm pretty happy classes are starting up. Perhaps for the first time in my life. 4 more weeks, these puppies are all gone.....Texans regular season. College Football would be happening..... Can't wait.
I'm taking 1 marketing class and 1 management class at UH this fall then i'm graduating. I've only got 6 tests and one group paper left and its over.
I kind of feel jibbed since my summer basically ended August 8 with the apartment search, moving, orientations, and then having to already start reading for my first class assignments! The only good thing is that I have to work my ass off this first year, get a summer internship/externship/job, then come back to school for my second year and nail the On Campus Interviews so I can get paid internship at a Firm. Then I can enjoy life again for my second and third year of law school. So I only have to suffer really bad for the next 13 months or so.
I miss being in college It's damn boring having a 8-5 job everyday 5 times a week. I'm looking forward to the Rockets season! I'm also looking forward to cooler weather. I love the fall.
I might skip tomorrow. School has to get here before the Rockets' season starts. We are getting that much closer. Hopefully the first month goes by fast and maybe even preaseason.
Starting dental school on Tuesday....excited Tonight is our white coat ceremony party....basically a drunk fest...can't wait!
I don't want to go back. I'm taking 19 units this semester as well as working, and hopefully, I don't burn myself out. BUT! this should be my last year, if everything goes according to plan! I can't wait to get out of here! AND I can't wait for the season to start already!! I wanna see the killer combo of Yao, T-mac and Ron-ron in action!
Blah....school starting means back to work for me. Doing nothing for 2.5 months is quite enjoyable....I was able to finish 4-5 games.
For the first time since I was 4, I won't be heading back to school. And I kinda miss it. I graduated and will take this year off. So it's to studying the GRE, applying to grad school, and working at a sushi restaurant. Sigh...good times...
I'm enjoying college the second time around. I start back on Tuesday, but I only have two classes and they only meet twice a week. I don't know if I could take going back full time. Good luck to everyone on the new semester!
WORD! then when i think about 6 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school, 3 years of high school, 5 years undergraduate, and 2 years of graduate school, then i don't miss it anymore.
