Graduated 98 I actually only played under Stokebrand one year, cause he was coaching the JV then. he took over right after I graduated. We still keep in touch, though--how's the V-Squad looking? I guess if you're a freshman you might not know yet. Just wondering... ------------------

It's funny hearing you guys say that Aldine, Eisenhower and Mac are now playing Hip Hop. That was unheard of when I was in school. I'm a MB Smiley Grad.. The varisty squad still needs some work. They were listed as one of the "darkhorses" in the area, and said to maybe creep into the playoffs come end of season. Some of our freshman guys were playing defense on a varisty drill and we actually rebounded the ball twice out of 10 shots and blocked 1 varisty shot. I KNOW they still need work if they let 2 rebounds drop to someone a foot shorter than them and get blocked by a kid that's 2 feet shorter than them. Today was our first day of REAL practice We had to be there at 7 in the morning.
