Yup, it's work safe.

The really scary part about this is... there are a ton of people who actually believe that crap.

I have never gotten suicidal either, but I have had an urge to slap a DM upside the head.

Well, if you've ever played you know that losing a character can be a very traumatic experience. ;)

I remember seeing those when the carnival came to town, sometimes they would always end up on the ground.

"Nah, lets wait for the Passion to come out on DVD. I wanna see Hellboy!!!!"

Jeff and I have had some marathon games including one where, after 36 hours or so, we couldn't do anything but make jokes about our friend Big John's +8 throne of sh!tting.

Sad part was every one of us was completely sober.

    I can't believe people think D&D is satanic. It's just a game.

Now Risk, that's a different story.

This crap shows me two things.

How hardcore these Christian people are. These people make Christiananitiy look bad. Total turn off.

    and

D&D is really the devils game. I tried to play it, but could not even get into it. I think I had to use my imagination.

    RM95,

You mentioned earlier in this thread about your brother and it appears that you have an estranged relationship with him. I know I am being a Sir Jackie Chiles aka being nosy:p , but hey you can always tell me to jump in a lake, but is part of it due to him being a "hardcore" Christian?

Has he ever met Max? Would knowing that his brother is such good friends with a dedicated Christian like Max mean anything to him?

Sorry, if I stepped out of line on this but I get the feeling that you would like to let out some frustration there and what better place to do it than on a message board on the Internet - it is a good therapy!!:D

or email might be just as good...

it's not hardcore...it's actually just misguided, from my perspective. and very legalistic.

no...i don't think the occult is a great place to camp out. but this is just a freaking game. nothing more. like reading a harry potter book.

I freaking LOVE those Jack Chick comics. Somebody left a stack of them out for public consumption when I was in school and me and my old roomate got hooked on how r****ded they are.

They feature a rare breed of comedy, intolerance, superstition, paranoia, and just plain looniness.

If you get a chance read "the last generation" or the anti-freemason one. Great stuff.
