I recently e-mailed Fox Sports Net to ask them about the deal with the Rockets on TV...this is what they had to say: "I appreciate your comments and share your desire to have all 3 NBA teams shown in our entire viewing area which is Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. We would love to be able to do just that. However, the NBA will not allow Rockets to be seen in your area (nor Mavericks) - just the Spurs. The Spurs cannot be seen in the Mavericks or the Rockets territories either. It is really too bad because I agree that it would definitely increase viewership. As far as the Spurs being on SW and TNT at the same time is because we do not hold exclusive rights to the games so other networks will from time to time, carry the same game that we are carrying. Thanks for your interest and I will pass your comments along. Maybe we will be able to someday change this rule.
