I've never dry cleaned anything in Austin and was wondering if you guys could suggest me some reputable places that you have dealt with before.

Jack Brown by campus works ok, if you don't mind dealing with the mean old lady that works the counter. I sometimes go to the one on South Congress at Oltorf. Either way, they've got some good coupons on their website, you should use them.

Jack Brown sucks... they ruined my down comforter, and it was such a pain to get them to admit it was their fault.

Pressed 4 Time provides free pick up and delivery for dry cleaning, laundry, alterations, and shoe repair services - from either work or home. Very convenient and I've had nothing but great service from them. I've always hated standing in line behind the one guy that seemingly has his entire wardrobe with him - and of course each garment warrants its own special care instructions. Yeah, it's a small thing but it's one less aggravation to deal with.

That sucks. I should probably not get mine cleaned there then.

Love the sig by the way. I remember watching the DVD and noticing that he said that. No wonder Keith Jackson retired after that game.

Find a place that says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, and then when you get your clothes back say you are not 100% satisfied and ask for your money back.

I use a small, mom-and-pop place in Crestview called Perfecto Cleaners. After your first visit, they address you by your first name when you walk in the door. Just the way I like it.
The service is great and it's 24-hour return time.

(Of course, if you don't live in central-ish Austin, this won't be an option.)

 Yup... Keith Jackson's retirement is like a cherry on top of the greatest football game I've ever watched (until Boise State v. OU last year). :)

I live off of Riverside and 35. The dry cleaners around this side aren't too great.

I usually take my stuff to Reid's Cleaners. Never had a problem so far (knocks on wood).

Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys. I have a suit and 4 or 5 shirts that I need to get dry cleaned.

There is a 1.35 cleaner near highland mall (within 2-3 miles).

I hated getting clothes cleaned in Austin. It was always so expensive.

I've always like Reid's. They are pretty good if you need something quick, as long as you drop it off in the morning. Stay away from Jack Brown and Rick's.
