Whoa! We just had one helluva storm roll through here out near 620 and 2222. Hail, the size of golf balls, was POURING down for the better part of 10 minutes. It seemed like the wind was coming from all directions and I would guess easily exceeded 50mph. It was weird because there was no rain, no wind, nothing. Then all of a sudden I hear a couple of what I think are rain drops hitting the window, the BAM, all hell broke loose. It looks like the storm rolled off to the east.
Yeah I was just playing out doors basketball at 7 p.m. and thinking what a nice weather. A couple of friends called at around 8:30 and was gonna go out and watch a movie with a group. 9:20 hits and as soon I step out of the shower and got dressed, freaking hail starts coming down, I was like F*ck this, I'm gonna stay home and play WOW, who needs a life
Holy **** I was just driving through that ~ I knew immediately that it was way different than your typical strong storm. Sure enough they just said on the news they think it is a tornado. I can't remember ever being in anything that strong with so much large hail ~ my car is going to be thrashed. I fishtailed on freaking hail - what a trip!
Yeah, I told her just to stay and that it probably wouldn't be safe to drive tonight. I hope you don't mind.
