Where's the "**Argentinean Thread!**" one? I kid. Good thread, dear sir. You say "post where you're from", say that you'll start, but you don't say where you're from, mate. did you forget? I am from MEXICO, by the way. p.s. - you can't say you liked the Bulls during the Jordan era around here, man... we all know our Rockets would have pulverized them...
Nice to meet ya, sorry yeah I did forget but a few posts down I wrote I was from Adelaide, South Australia
I never got to watch those but I do remember during the 98-99 season I believe it was that they used to televise some games on channel 10 at mid day...That was a fun season too bad it got cut short.
Happy Early Birthday. All the Best with your music and studies. Opps, my bad, ( ) I did a typo on my first post for this thread. Your Right, Bud. Truth: Im turning 16 this year born in 1995..
I'll challenge you for that title Brad, 31, from Canberra (for the moment, hopefully will be in Melbourne in the very near future). Admittedly was/am a huge Barkley fan and only started following the Rockets when he got traded to them but have been following them faithfully ever since. Haven't played competitive basketball (well as competitive as it gets in Canberra anyway) for about 1-2 years, but will definitely start playing again when in Melbourne. Also used to be a huge basketball card collecting nut, still have all my cards, might pass them on to the kids when they are old enough to appreciate them
ah, then you are close to our most infamous Aussie, SmeggySmeg. he would be our third (fourth? didnt realize chuck was still around) longest serving member here from Australia after Chris and dave. You would enjoy his tales of Houston sports trips. EDIT: was curious, so checked....the order is Christopher, Chuck, Smeg and then davo.
If you remember the epic Kevin Johnson trade thread on the old site, the furor over the address change or how I voted 1,000 times on a poll on the front page asking if we should trade Dream, then congratulations, you need to get out more! :-D
Still can't believe there are that many Australians here, crazy stuff. I can't wait to go back to Houston, might have to get someone random on this site to show me around...Is Astro World still around haha
The only thing I know about Australian culture is "vegemite", John Farnham, and BMX Bandits. And handful of odd trivia like knowing Rick Springfield was born in Australia. But I take those to HEART. Hope you guys got through the recent flooding, or weren't hit by it.
