If his intent wasn't freedom why didn't he stay at the court house rather than running after he killed? Yes I wish he would have gotten killed. Slime ball doesn't deserve another trial. Doesn't deserve to waste another single dollar of tax payers money. He is a peice of crap that I hope gets taken care of before he can go to trial.

This person deserves to die if anyone ever did deserve to. I have absolutely no remorse over it, either. How he let that one lady live is only because she knew how to push his buttons and get him to trust her a little bit. I'm sure if she would have done something stupid he would have killed her to. To this guy's family, I hope your son or relative dies very soon. I don't care how he was raised. He chose death over life. He's no saint. He raped his girlfriend over a 3 day period and topped that off with behaving like a deranged "soldier". Why even waste a trial on him? Just kill him and be done with it.

I just read the guard he took the gun from was not only a female but 51 years old. WTF were they doing in Atlanta? I mean they find 2 shanks in his shoes then they leave him alone with her? I also saw where his attorney said (before he was captured) that it didn't matter which guard he was with he could have taken any guard in the building.

KILL 'EM ALL...as Metallica would say! This guy could sit 10 years and still be alive awaiting the death penalty. If they can try his rape case twice in two weeks, then they can try him for murder in one week and execute him the next. There should be a law in that if your overwhelmingly guilty...do not pass "GO" and go straight to the death chamber. Instead, tax payers get to pay at least 10 years of room and board. I don't think it's right. I wish they would have shot him while he was out. Why did he do all this crazy stuff and then just surrender? What kind of soldier was he trying to be? He did it all for butter pan cakes. OMG
