if the HOME TEAM thinks they get some advantage by closing the roof...then by all means...close the mother falcon roof. i'll "suffer through" an indoor playoff game if it gives them an edge...even if it's just psychological. the game is the thing.

If you're gonna set a game-time of 630, then the game better damn well start at 630. Enough of this pregame crap

Seriously. Who wants to hear Todd Zeile drone on for half an hour?

Very happy to see Lamb in the lineup tonight. I think he is a bit more of a threat than Orlando and O seems to do a lot better as a PH anyway.

Guy was in MLB for 20 years and he can't afford a tie?

Another reason why Skip Garner played Orlando instead of Lamb is because of Lanec's repaired knee. My hunch tells me that he did not want Lance roaming in that bigger left field on that knee (bigger picture view).

Oh God, Josh Lewin is calling the game. I don't think it's possible to have a more annoying voice.

Good point .. I can definitely see that. I guess there are no real good options whether you go with Orlando, Burke, or Scott in that situation.

Somebody please tell these announcing clowns, it's Taveras, not Tavares.

The funny thing is if you watch the Astros celebration after clinching, Bagwell and a couple other players called him Tavares. Willy must just not care enough to correct people.

Nice 1-2-3 inning from Roy, though my heart lept when Lance was making the third putout. Roy looks sharp, and as long as he doesn't let the Jones' beat him I think the Stros will win.

I didn't get to watch the celebration as I don't live in Houston anymore. I'm really surprised - maybe he hears it so much his teammates do it now just to tease?
