I can pick up 740 in Austin. Ironically, it comes in better alot of the time than the ESPN Radio (1260) that is an Austin station.
the astros game WILL DEFINITELY LEAD OFF!!! unless the angels win in 19 innings on a walk-off homerun. no way they can not have this start off the show. how many playoff records were broken in this game, like 5? this is what ESPN hopes to have happen everynight. a no brainer.
same here in san marcos. i rarely listen to 1300 in austin for astro games especially at night, you can't ever pick it up. last night i listened to 740 waiting for my wife to get off of work.
ESPN will be LOVE it, because it was a game for the ages and it was shown on ESPN (their final MLB game of the year)... all of the rest are on Fox.
just got back from the game and the B.U.S. I dont even know what to say... I am speechless. I was at the Kent walk off, but this victory just got rid of so many demons this franchise has. In the past the Astros lose these types of games. Extra innings, at home, in the postseason, with a chance to clinch. The astros had never won an extra-inning post season game. All of that changed today. I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!
Anyone have the video of the homerun? Its a long story, but I watched 5 hours and 18 minutes of the game...and MISSED the homerun at the end. If anyone's got it, please hook it up.
Unfreakingreal. I cannot believe I was there. Major and I were screaming for 10 minutes straight!!!! I knew the baseball gods weren't cruel enough to deliver losses in two 16+ inning playoff games!!
woohooo!!!!!! Glad we don't have to hear the Tomahawk Chop anymore!!!!!! Way to go Burke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks....wow, that really puts me on the verge of tears...amazing. I want to yell and scream and hug stuff.
