Just makes that 8th inning look even worse now... Gallo should never see action in close games, and Qualls needs to get his stuff together at the start of an inning.
I thought I said I'd leave if they lost the game... ah well, I had to stick around for the draft. In the end, I guess I'm no better than the countless fans who've already said they weren't going to watch the Texans if they didn't have VY (and now the ones that aren't going to watch without Bush).
I cant believe Tackleberry (Weathers) got the save. Seriously between The Texans and this I have had a pretty rough day
Oswalt loses to the damn Reds..... Reds take over 1st place..... Texans pull a fast one.... I think I just threw up in my mouth!!!! Mommy...wake me up please!!!!!
ALright... back to the only Houston team I'm currently passionate about (until T-mac gets healed). They finally got some runs for Pettite... with a JACK from Lane!
This game is more annoying than yesterday's... another barrage of bloops, bleeders... and now its turning into wild throws and errors by the 'Stros. Ah well... at least the Astros aren't going to be bashed as badly as the Rockets were, and Texans currently are.
Andy doesn't even look like he has his head in the game. He better get focused and soon because the schedule is going to get tough. Unacceptable to Walk 2 batters, throw wild to first, and give up another run on a wild pitch in a single inning. Ugh! Andy needs to be taken out ... He is having a pretty bad season so far.
Well looks like there is a good chance we may have gone from best record in the majors to being a half game from 4th place in our own division.
The Reds really have a balanced offensive attack. If that pitching staff can hold together they may be some competition.
We probably could easily be up 2-0 in this series, but a lot of bounces/bloop hits worked against us...this extended innings that were routine. I think if we played a series versus this team in the post season, the Astros would come out on top.
