That's nothin for Roy... and they had just as good of a chance to pick up those 2 runs that Roy bunted over, as they would have had they PH for Roy with only one runner in scoring position.

Also, its only the 6th inning... you won't win many games (even if you're only down 1 run) if your ace pitcher only pitched 5 innings.

The Astros seriously need to practice rundowns. That was comical.

How the hell was that an F'n strike at the ankles on Lane ... Complete BS. Should have thrown the bat at the ump. Maybe I am just irritated after hearing about the Texans pick, but now the Stros game is ticking me off too

Literally the worst strike call I've ever seen in my entire life. The ball was at least 5 inches below the Lane's knees.

    Uncanny.

It becomes even more comical when you go back to Dunn's first 2 AB's, and pitches that were significantly higher than that pitch were called BALLS, and this one was called a strike.

Can't really say it would have changed much in the inning... Lane got a phat pitch to swing at on 3-2, got good contact, but just hit it to the deep part of the park.

Ugh ... Qualls has been extremely inconsistent this season ... just keep the game at 3-2 Chad!!

Edit: And that wasn't strike 3?

Don't know what to make of that innning... Qualls looks terrible, then looks great in getting the K... then gets victimized by a good piece of hitting that was still a little dribbler up the middle.

Also, the up the middle defense strikes again (shades of 2004 w/ Viz)... at least AE is in the lineup tommorow.

Phillips has been a huge pick-up for the Reds

With Dunn disapearing (which he has a habit of doing - an incredible streak hitter) the past couple weeks everyone else has picked it up.

Mike Gallo sucks. Seriously he needs to be in the Minors. His career ERA would be in the 5 or 6 range if Wheeler and Qualls saved his ass everytime he gave up a hit.

Gallo gave up a hit and Qualls proceded to give up 3 ... I'll stick to bashing Qualls tonight, but Gallo isn't far behind.

Our best pitcher going against one of their worst pitchers. This could be a tough loss to swallow

Nah... that's baseball. Claussen has better stuff than Wandy... so explain that to the other 4 teams that Wandy has punked this year.

Also, if Biggio can't get going on the road... the offense will be hard-pressed to score runs, other than the long-ball.

What happens when the weather gets warm?

Oh yea, the Reds start losing because they can't pitch.

No I agree that it defeiinitely happens, I'm just saying its more disappointing to lose when you really expect to win. Losses like this are going to happen.

Well Lance is making it close!
