Not to bring up a sore subject, but I have a question and was hoping someone could help me out. In some kind of delusion I actually ordered playoff tickets at the end of the season believing that if we didn't make it, I would not be charged/the charges would be removed from my credit card. Looking over my credit card bill I see that I was charged and since I didn't go through the charges carefully enough I already paid for them. Is there any way to correct this? Will the Astros be cancelling the fees and then the money I paid just applied to a futrue purchase? If anyone knows I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
From the Astros website: Customers who purchased tickets online or over the phone are not required to return tickets for unplayed games when requesting a refund. Patrons making such requests will have their purchasing charge card account credited. Box office buyers must return their tickets for unplayed games to the main box office on Texas Avenue. So, I guess you call the box office and they issue a refund if you didn't receive the tickets. If you received the tickets, you gotta go to the box office and return them. That's the gist I get from this.
Thanks. I will try to call them. I never got the tickets sent to me. I assume because there was no game.
Did you hear ticket prices increased for 2004? --- Gerry: Drayton, our attendance decreased in 2003. I think we should keep prices the same in 2004. Scrooge: I don't care. I didn't become a gazillionaire by slashing prices. Gerry: Are you sure Drayton? Scrooge: Yes. We didn't increase prices last year because the [whine]bad economy[/whine].
