Unfortunately more injuries have hit the Astros pitching staff. Tonight, Oswalt pulled his groin. He is day 2 day. Astacio is out until the end of the reg season. Hernandez will not return to action. Maybe it's time for Tim Redding to start it up again
Astocio's out for the playoffs also. He got a 2nd opinion from the team doctor for the Anaheim Angels and was diagnosed with a partially torn labrum. Not fun. I don't know if he's gonna have surgery anytime soon or not but from what I understand this knocks him out for awhile. It's really frustrating seeing such a great team get his with some pretty serious injuries in such a short time. Hopefully Oswalt's groin pull is nothing serious. We're gonna need his arm if we're gonna make any noise in the playoffs...
