The Cards won. That's it for the Astros. They are done. They are so yesterday. You know it's just too little too late for them to come back.

So.... this means that the Cardinals' magic number is now 4. How is that eliminated?

Not to mention that the Cards game is only in the 7th inning...

Why don't we just go ahead and give up on the Rockets for the season while we are at it............jumping the gun a little don't you think?

I think this is a Classic moment in the making. Hell, this should be a Classic moment if the Padres win TODAY, irrespective of whether we make the postseason.

Even Carpenter gave up 6 runs.

You know you will blow up the playoff, Cardinals.

    And their bullpen sucks.

    2 on,no out in 8th innings.

    stupid moron

I thought you were referring to the cardinals coming back and winning from being down 6-5. Even if they did it still wouldnt have been close to being over

padres just scored again 7-5. :D

from now on i'm going to get my mlb scores from mlb.com
